Cuba Gooding Jr. to be cast as Bobo

Bobo is a small man in a cheap suit with a rimmed hat and happens to be Walter's investment partner. Cuba Gooding Jr. also tried to be a flashy dresser in "American Gangster but just couldn't pull it off ; he looked more foolish than flashy. Neither Nicky Barns in "American Gangster", played by Cuba Gooding Jr., or Bobo in "Raisin in the Sun" are characters that we have difficulty taking seriously because they don't seem comfortable in their own skin. Both of these characters appear to be naiive and are confused as to how things went wrong so quickly. Bobo is described as having haunting eyes and Cuba Gooding Jr.'s eyes are the first thing that's noticed about his appearance. As intelligent as they both may be in real life, they don't appear to be intelligent in these particular roles. Yes Cuba Gooding Jr. is a superb actor and can definitely pull it off as Bobo in "Raisin in the Sun".
